Irish Caramel Apple Bake

Serves 4

  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • ½ cup crushed pecans
  • 1 large apple, cored and cut into bite-sized wedges with the skin on
  • 2 Tbsp Rootham's Irish Caramel Sauce + more for garnish
  • whipped cream
Irish Style Caramel Sauce

Preheat oven to 400°F/200°C.

In a large bowl, mix all of the ingredients together.  Divide evenly between 4 individual ramekins or one medium sized baking dish.  Bake for 20 mins or until the apples are softened.

Remove from oven.  Serve with a dollop of whipped cream on each and a drizzle of Irish Caramel Sauce.

As an alternative, you can serve the Apple Bake alongside scoops of vanilla ice cream.
