Buckin’ Berry Chévre Burgers

This recipe uses DL Jardines Buckin’ Berry Raspberry Chipotle Sauce which is also great on baked, grilled, or planked brie! You can substitute ground chicken, turkey, or lamb in this recipe.

Serves 4

  • 1 1b (454gr) medium ground beef 
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • ½ tsp minced garlic 
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup Buckin' Berry Raspberry Chipotle Sauce
  • 4 Kaiser rolls, split open + butter for rolls 
  • 300g chèvre log, sliced into 4 rounds
  • lettuce leaves for 4 burgers

In a mixing bowl, thoroughly combine gournd beef, bread crumbs, garlic, salt, and Buckin' Berry sauce. Divide mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into ½ inch-thick patties. 

Preheat grill. Place patties on grill rack and grill 6 minutes on each side or until well done. Remove the burgers to a platter and immediately place a chèvre slice to soften.

Lightly butter the insides of the buns and toast slightly on the grill. Spread a little more Buckin' Berry on the toasted buns. Place a chèvre-topped patty on each bottom bun, top with lettuce leaves, and lightly press the top buns down to spread out the chèvre.
