Maritime Madness Hot Sauces

Maritime Madness Hot Sauces

As the name implies, Maritime Madness calls Prince Edward Island home and cut its teeth on hot sauces. They rely heavily on their own crop of 800 - 1200 chile pepper plants, Cayennes, Hungarian Wax, Jalapenos, and Banana Peppers, as well as Ghost peppers. Who knew Islanders were so mad about chiles? Their products are all-natural, gluten-free, and GMO-free. All you get is bold flavour!

Smokin' Sou'wester

Smokin’ Sou’wester - Hot-Sauce-of-the-Month / April 2014

Smokin’ Sou’wester is a smokin’ hot habanero mustard sauce. Mustard based sauces are traditionally from Barbados and go great on both meat and fish. This one finishes with a hint of black pepper and garlic, perfect for hamburgers, sausages, baked ham and added to potato sald or pretzel dip.

Bacon Blaze C’mon! What’s not to like about smokey bacon? Perfect for breakfast eggs and hasbrowns. The mild heat won’t ruin you for the rest of the day! If you make your own jerky, try mixing some Bacon Blaze into your brine.

Shuckin Delicious was made with PEI oysters in mind but the blend of medium heat with cilantro, lime, and garlic is perfect for any seafood, salsa, or Tex-Mex dishes.

Tidal Surge is one of the most unique hot sauce combinations weve come across. Habanero, black bean, and ginger have a distinct savoury flavour well suited to meats. It’s not shy on spiciness but comes on slowly. Give it try in stir-fry too!

Blazin Newfie is a medium-hot sauce with hickory smoke and sweet Newfoundland Screech. Perfect for spiking BBQ sauce, baked beans, hamburger patties, and meatloaf.

Maritime Madness packs a whole lot of habanero punch! Garlic and a sweet touch of PEI Moonshine give it a nice round flavour. Use it anywhere youd dash on Louisiana-style hot sauce.

Smokin’ Sou’wester - Hot-Sauce-of-the-Month / April 2014

Smokin’ S is where it starts to reach stupid hot! Fresh red habaneros, fresh garlic, vinegar, and salt sound simple enough until you add capsaicin extract! Hold on to your wellies, bys. If thats not enough to giter done, they do make an even hotter Ultimate Giver Sauce. Ouch!
