CaJohns Krakatoa! Pure Red Savina Habanero Mash - Hot-Sauce-of-the-Month / February 2014
You’ll blow your top over this habanero sauce. It’s called a “mash” because it is simply mashed habanero chiles with a touch of vinegar. As such, it is very thick in consistency and invokes the same kind of patience needed for a bottle of ketchup. It certainly won’t run off the edge of your piece of pizza. The Red Savina pepper is a cultivar of the habanero chili which has been developed to be hotter than common habaneros. Volcanic heat won’t dissappoint the chileheads out there! Use this pepper mash to kick up chili, stew, or spaghetti sauce.
