The Epicentre Fire & Brimstone Rub
This locally made rub delivers heat balanced with taste. More than eight herbs and ground spices and peppercorns give the blend tremendous depth of flavour. The heat doesn't hit you over the head but does definitely linger. Smoked paprika, chipotle, and ancho lend a very slight smokiness. It's low in salt so you can use it in all kinds of applications. Use it straight as a rub for ribs, chops or roasts, or add some to your favourite rub to kick it up a notch. You can also treat it as a seasoning for chill, potato wedges, glazed nuts, or even popcorn. Sprinkle some over cauliflower florets tossed with vegetable oil and roast slowly in the oven for a delicious side dish.
